TICKETS

Do I need to bring my ticket?

Yes. Each individual ticket will be scanned.

 

When you arrive, please have individual tickets ready to be scanned - either on your phone, printed or paper ticket - so the team can get you inside ASAP (and straight to your welcome drink and the dancefloor).

 

If you bought tickets for a group, please arrive together and wait to be scanned. Alternatively, send the ticket to each friend for quicker scanning.

I can’t find my ticket, what should I do?

The ticketing platforms (OzTix or Moshtix) will send you all relevant information, including tickets, in the days prior to DISCO CLUB. You will have selected to receive this via either email or SMS, so please check junk or other folders.

Can I get a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable, but you may resell (see below) or giveaway your ticket.

Can I resell or transfer my ticket?

Can no longer attend? We understand, life happens. You're welcome to pass your ticket to a girlfriend, or sell it safely online, however play it smart and use a trusted site.

 

If you purchased your ticket via Oztix, we recommend their preferred buy/sell partner, TIXEL. If you need a hand using Tixel, you can get support by emailing support@tixel.com

 

If your enquiry is about uploading a paper ticket, contact info@oztix.com.au to get your ticket changed to an e-ticket so they can be uploaded via Tixel.

Is there a waitlist?

Yes, there is through OzTix. Once an event sells-out the waitlist is automatically enabled and you can add your name to the waitlist.

Can I buy a ticket at the door on the night?

No. All tickets must be purchased online prior to the event start.

I missed out on a ticket - what can I do?

GENERAL EVENT

Who is DISCO CLUB designed for?

DISCO CLUB is all about a judgement-free, safe, friendly space for women, and people who identify as women.

What should I wear?

There are no rules! Sequins, sneakers, maxi-dresses, shorts, ball gowns, cowboy boots – do whatever makes you happy and comfortable to drop it like it’s hot.


We suggest cool, light clothing, comfortable footwear, and a cross-body bag so you can be hands-free.

But I’m not a good dancer…

DISCO CLUB is a judgement-free zone, so bust out your moves. It’s good for the soul!

What kind of music will be played?

Lise & Sarah curate a playlist for each DISCO CLUB, with the majority being bangers from the 80s, 90s, and 00s - think Beyonce, Kylie, Whitney, Brittany, Celine - peppered with classics across the decades, like ABBA, Dolly, Salt N Pepa.

 

There are two iconic anthems played throughout the night, with projected lyrics so everyone can singalong, should they choose.

These songs are a pillar and do not change.

Is there any support at the venue on the night?

Any venue-specific support will be handled by venue staff, but we have a friendly team of DISCO CLUB crew on hand throughout the event to add joy to your night. Look for them wearing TEAM DISCO shirts.

Is there an age limit?

The minimum age is 18 because DISCO CLUB is held at licensed venues, but there’s no upper age limit. The majority of music played will be from the 80s, 90s and 00s, so if that’s your gran’s jam…bring her too!

Do venues have accessibility for people with physical disabilities?

Please contact the DISCO CLUB venue directly for accessibility requirements. You can find the venue by looking under the relevant city page.

FOOD & DRINK

Will there be food?

Please eat prior to the event, as there is no catering or food for purchase at the venue.

What about drinks?

With multiple bars at every DISCO CLUB venue, choose your drop then pop it like it’s hot.

Whether it's our signature DISCO PROSECCO or you just need an H20 refresh, we've got you covered with a bar menu focussed on speedy options so the wait staff can get you outta the line and back in your dance circle.

Are sober women welcome?

Absolutely. There’s no pressure to drink alcohol at DISCO CLUB at all. H20 refresh stations with free tap water will be available around the venue so you don’t need to join the bar line. Look out for the signs.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Will the event be filmed and photographed?

Please be aware that this event will be professionally  filmed and photographed.

 

By purchasing a ticket and attending this event, you are giving your consent to be filmed and photographed during this event.

 

Film and photographs may be used to communicate DISCO CLUB.

Is personal photography allowed?

It is, however we ask you to be considerate of other disco-lovers around you.

Can I access the professional photography from the night?

Don't want to miss out on the gallery from the night?  We don’t blame you! Our event photographer will be capturing the good vibes on the night so if you’re attending, watch out for your event email from Lise and Sarah, or QR codes on the night, to sign up to receive the gallery.

TRANSPORT

Is there parking?

Available parking varies depending on the DISCO CLUB location.

 

DISCO CLUB in metropolitan CBD areas will have limited street parking, so best to think about public transport or rideshare options (like taxis and Uber) and make a transport plan for you and your friends beforehand.
